ARAMUS
NATIONALITY: ARMETHIAN.
Aramus was born into slavery. He had been bought and sold so many times, across so many nations, that he could never be sure of where he came from.
With no home and no family to protect him, Aramus drifted aimlessly from kingdom to kingdom and was forced to serve without question.
While serving in Orillith under the rule of King Thaddeus, Aramus met Matthias. An Etherian ambassador who adopted Aramus and saved him from a horrible fate.
While in Matthias' care, Aramus discovered the family he never had. One that treated him with kindness, dignity and respect.
Realizing that he could accomplish more with his life, Aramus aspired to become a sorcerer and use his power to free those still trapped within the grip of tyranny.
Against the wishes of her people Matthias' daughter Pricilla began training him in secret. A choice she would come to regret. As the woeful slave she once knew transformed into a raging conqueror.
PRICILLA
NATIONALITY: ETHERIAN.
Like her father Matthias, Pricilla has always had a great respect for her elders and studied hard to become worthy of their favor.
A narrow focus and strict discipline molded her into a fantastic sorcerer. One who could rival even the most powerful of Masters, though she never dared to prove it.
Often studying in secret, Pricilla's power grew larger than the wisdom needed to control it.
When Aramus told her about what his people were capable of, Pricilla began to doubt the passive outlook of her masters.
Fearing for the safety of her people she trained Aramus in magic and the pair planned to overthrow the kingdoms of man together.
Though when the time came, Pricilla's conscience would not allow her to follow Aramus into war.

MATTHIAS
NATIONALITY: ETHERIAN.
Matthias was the father of Pricilla and an ambassador for the nation of Etheria. His work ensured that relations between Etheria and the rest of the world were unspoiled so Etheria could retain its neutral status.
The burden of being ambassador often weighed heavily on Matthias. He would constantly travel from nation to nation, preserving peace for his people but ignoring the horrors which surrounded him.
When Thaddeus threatened to mutilate Aramus during his visit to Orillith, Matthias finally had enough. On that day, Aramus witnessed a sorcerer defying the orders of a King. On that day, Aramus knew that he was meant for something more.
DAMIEN PALIK
NATIONALITY: ARMETHIAN.
Damien was a highly skilled strategist and decorated General. Originally serving under King Thaddeus, he quickly rose through the ranks, gaining the trust and respect of his superiors.
As time went on Damien began to take pity on his enemies. There was no need for The United Front to continue its expansion. It had everything it needed to thrive and the neighboring nations posed no threat.
Damien spoke out against the expansion and for it he was branded a traitor. Damien was thrown into Blackwater Prison and left to rot until Aramus set him free.
Unlike Thaddeus, Aramus often welcomed his advice and shared his vision for a peaceful world. Though, whenever he and Aramus did disagree, Damien would not dare defy his Majesty a second time.

PHARRON
NATIONALITY: IGNOLTIAN.
Pharron was the King of Ignoltis. Instead of dominating his people with tyranny and fear, Pharron chose to guide them with tolerance and respect.
Pharron was a firm believer in the philosophy instilled by his ancestors. The philosophy of accepting yourself and respecting your limitations is a power that far exceeds any other.
Pharron did his best to help Aramus understand this wisdom, but in the eyes of the great Emperor, Pharron was but a slave to the ideals of a forgotten age.
THADDEUS
NATIONALITY: THE UNITED FRONT
Thaddeus was the King of The United Front. A confederacy of regions that ruled over most of the world before the rise of the Armethian Empire.
Unlike Pharron, Thaddeus was raised to rule with an iron fist and demanded respect through bloodshed.
Thaddeus hailed from a long line of warriors. His ancestors lead the fight in The Great War against the Etherian Empire and founded the roots of what would later become The United Front.
Ironically this lineage of slaves would eventually embody the ideals of their former oppressors.
As time went on, the importance of the Great War was forgotten and future generations like Thaddeus cared for no cause but their own.
